Richard Charles Pastori

Richard Charles Pastori, age 85 passed away on August 3, 2017 surrounded by his family.

Richard was a lifetime resident of Crockett, CA. where he was raised and raised his own family. He worked tirelessly at the C&H Sugar Refinery and retired after 42 years of exceptional employment.

Richard served his country honorably in the United States Air Force during the Korean War while stationed in Alaska. Richard was a proud and faithful member of St. Rose of Lima Church, where he served in several capacities over the duration of his life.  Richard enjoyed being a member of the men’s club at church where sipping coffee and chatting with friends after Sunday mass was always a highlight. His love for Bocce Ball was evident as he joked on the courts with teammates and opponents. His winning trophies proudly displayed among family photos.  Richard was a longtime member of the Crockett Virtus Club, ICF and was a founding committee member of the Carquinez Vista Manor where he resided as one of its first residents. Richard was a helper to many who knew him and a friend to many more.

Richard is survived by his 6 children. Michael Pastori (Barbara), Lynn Damelio (Mark), Andrea Seydel, MaryAnn Pastori, Kym Parr (Clifford), and Paul Pastori (Carmela); 10 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

A funeral mass will be held at 10 am, on Thursday, August 10, 2017 @ St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Crockett, CA with a reception immediately following in the church hall. In lieu of flowers, donations are welcome to St. Rose Lima 555 3rd Ave. Crockett, CA. 94525
